Canadian Nurses Foundation is pleased to announce the call for nominations for this year’s Thank A Nurse initiative in conjunction with our upcoming CNF 2021 MaskerAide!

We received such an overwhelmingly positive response last year with nurse nominations from coast-to-coast-to-coast – let’s continue the momentum this year and shine a much-deserved spotlight on our nursing heroes!

The initiative aims to spotlight nurses from all domains of practice from each and every province and territory. We invite you to nominate 1 or more Canadian nurses who you would like CNF to nationally recognize and celebrate.

Each nominated nurse will be:

• Gifted a complimentary ticket to this year’s immersive CNF 2021 MaskerAide virtual event on October 28, 2021
• Recognized nationally during the CNF 2021 MaskerAide
• Spotlighted in a #ThankANurse social post on CNF’s channels this year

The first 65 nurses to accept their nomination will be gifted a custom-made gold face mask by Canadian fashion brand Diana Coatsworth Design and an accompanying frontline tote bag.

HOW TO NOMINATE: Submit your nurse nomination(s) by completing the nomination form below. Nominees can be from any domain - i.e. practice, education, research, administration and policy

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 5pm EST. Once nominations are submitted, CNF’s team will reach out to each nurse to confirm their nomination.
